Nakshi Stitch is a non-profit Social Enterprise seeking to empower the lives of the women of Bangladesh through the yellowbet intricacy of art. Nakshi is the name given to the traditional folk-art embroidery that instills a storytelling quintessence. Women sit together bet sewing beautiful thread work onto cloth, articulating their stories into the atmosphere around them and the cloth beneath them.
